Sydney’s newest markets are the best…
Ah, breakfast in Darlo…one of my favourite things to do! The choice available never ceases to satisfy!
Since Pelagio changed hands about a year ago, things have changed. Formerly a deli/greengrocer with a huge range of products available with some eat in options, the space has been cleared and refined…
We meet here for breakfast bright and early (9am) to avoid a wait for tables…

We were told by many that we shouldn’t stay in Margaret River because the accommodation would be up to 30% more expensive..so from the glossy tourist brochures, and the web we settled on Busselton. Situated in Geographe Bay, Busselton seems to be the equivalent of Batemans’ Bay for Canberrans. A lovely seaside town, not too far from home, with some decent restaurants and cafes…The main attraction being the historic Busselton Jetty… So I managed to find a wine and food tour of the Margaret River that wasn’t for old people!

Lunchtime, Friday. What am I going to eat? Been away in Armidale, so no left overs at home, and don’t fancy tuna in a can. Don’t want to go all the way over to St Mary’s Cathedral for Hawkesbury Harvest Markets either…What’s a girl to do? Of course! Eureka! Go to The Rocks Markets! Yes, much smaller selection and no hot food, but still a walk, though shorter, and an abundance of tasty bits!

I like birthdays a lot. Mine in particular. So I decided to eat my way through the day.
I started with lunch at the Hawkesbury Harvest Markets, with a chorizo roll from Eumundi Smokehouse, I also stopped by to see ChocolateSuze and grab some biscotti! Yum! As a little gift she also gave me a little gingerbread man, who remains uneaten!
